Hello again dear reader and welcome to our first Book Review!! I cannot wait to share this with you guys!

Overview:

Highest Bidder is a collection of 5 interconnected standalones, Bought is the name of book one and the book we are reviewing today. This book is 219 pages. It is written by Willow Winters and Lauren Landish. The genre of the book is considered contemporary romance. For all of our bookish girlies out there I would say it’s smut.

Summary:

The book is about a cold-hearted man uninterested in love but driven by desires, purchases a woman at an auction to train her as a submissive. Despite initially viewing her as a mere distraction he becomes entangled in her hidden vulnerabilities after discovering her past. When their contract is coming to an end he finds himself wanting more, insisting that she be his.

My Review:

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars. Spiciness level I would say a 3 out of 5. It’s spicy if your not used to reading books like that but I have definitely have read spicier. This book overall was amazing. It’s hard to find a good book that balances the spicy and good plot but this one does it well. Lucian the main main character in the book not only takes care of Dahlia sexually but he also will do anything to help her heal from her traumatic past. If you’ve been following me for a little while in my other post featuring Rhys Larson I was talking about how he takes care of his girl in that book and I feel like we have a same situation here. A man that refuses the idea of love due to past pain but can’t deny when they meet the love of their life. A man that will do anything to protect the woman he loves. A man that will do anything to keep her. I love how Lucian uses his role as her dom to help her heal. When men are dominant I think there’s something primal in us women that helps turn off our brain and we can finally relax. So for Dahila I thinks its nice that she founds someone that not only loves her for who she is as a person but is also willing to help her heal.

I’m definitely excited to read the rest of the books in the series. If you are a spicy romance reader like myself I definitely recommend. You can find the books on her website or on Amazon. Willow Winters also has mystery boxes and those are my favorite to be honest. It comes with books and merch.
